IMG 20180928 WA0009Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN) held a one day meeting with OCP-IBM Project on developing innovations on the agriculture value chain from financing agriculture to access to market on 27/09/2018. The meeting had in attendance FEPSAN Executive Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Rabiu Kwa and his team and representative of OCP-IBM team.

The Sales Manager Commercial Farms OCP, Solomon Tanko thanked FEPSAN for hosting the team and said the meeting was to meet agriculture value chain actors to build digital agricultural ecosystem to improve farmers experience and unlock untapped potentials.

The Executive Secretary of FEPSAN, Alhaji Ahmed Rabiu Kwa in his address welcomed everyone that came to attend the meeting and highlighted FEPSAN key touch points within the agriculture ecosystem, main pain points/challenges experienced in building and maintaining relationships with the ecosystem, especially the farmers and areas that needed improvements.FEPSAN

  • Obtain quality fertilizers from reputable suppliers especially FEPSAN distributors
  • Store unused fertilizer away from children, fire, rain and entry of foreign material.
  • Form groups/associations to benefit from group/association dynamics.
  • Allow your crops to fully mature to get quality and values
  • Report fertilizer adulteration to the appropriate authority
