The chairman of the occasion the VC represented by Prof E.B Amans (Deputy VC Academics) he supported the initiative of the meeting in blending the old agricultural practices with the modern and business orientation. Therefore, the meeting should develop efficient and effective strategies toward this agri-business orientation, tightly linked to agricultural research, promoting demand driven and pluralistic extension services, involving qualified NGOs and private sectors. This can be achieved by making efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the extension delivery system (through use of various methods e.g. e-extension, radio, SMS) through linkages and Public Private Partnership (PPP). Certainly, Extension is the driver of agricultural developments. FEPSA
